The picture shows a close-up of a natural field with numerous small white flowers of chickweed (Stellaria holostea), whose yellow centres stand out clearly against the green background of grass and foliage. The inspiration for this work was the observation of an unspoilt section of meadow in which the chickweed, in its typical restraint, nevertheless developed a strong visual presence. The aim was to capture this quiet beauty - not through staging, but through precise observation and deliberate composition.
With this picture, I wanted to create an atmosphere that conveys naturalness, lightness and tranquillity. The message lies in the appreciation of the inconspicuous - in the invitation to consciously perceive the small things in nature and to recognise their creative power.
