About ‘Chicken moss in autumn’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

A golden October day in Hühnermoos, a dreamy high moor on the Söllereck near Oberstdorf, unfolds its full splendour in the clear air of the Allgäu Alps. The sun, which sparkles like a precious jewel in the deep blue sky, bathes the surrounding forests and gently rolling hills in a warm, golden light. Every plant, every moor grass, every birch tree glows in intense autumn colours - a breathtaking panorama of lush green, glowing red and radiant yellow that spreads out before the viewer's eyes like a painting.
The clear air is filled with the gentle sound of the wind rustling through the treetops and the distant chirping of birds preparing for their journey south. In the distance, the rugged peaks of the Allgäu Alps rise majestically, looking over the valley like silent sentinels and lending the picture a sublime, almost mystical aura.
A small path winds its way through the moor, leading past still, reflective pools of water and mysterious moorland eyes that sparkle in the sunlight like hidden treasures. Here, in this unspoilt nature, time seems to stand still. The Hühnermoos reveals its untamed beauty and reminds us how precious and fleeting such moments in nature are. In the midst of this scenery, enveloped in the peaceful silence and the scent of damp moss and autumn leaves, hikers can unwind and feel the power of nature in its purest form.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
