About "Chicago Skyline Sunset"

About the artwork

After almost a week in Chicago for the RSNA (an international radiology conference), I still didn't feel like I had the picture in my hands, so just before my flight left I took the cab 1 more time to the vantage point where you can admire the entire city of Chicago at the Adler Planetarium.

You can stay there for an hour because every minute of sunset and sunrise has a special light that falls over the city of Chicago.
This is what I did, but since I was about to miss my flight, I ordered my first uber while photographing. In the meantime, I shot from over 46 standing photos and stitched them together to eventually create this image.
These are the true pink colors I got to see from the sky, as well as Lake Michigan which has a little emerald green glow about it.

With a wind chill of -12 because of the real -3 degrees with strong winds, I could only shiver.
Finally the cab arrived and I was able to get in, not knowing that I would spend an extra hour in traffic because I so needed to take this picture! So it was getting a little tense whether I was going to make it.

It is a special city with harsh contrasts, because of the perfection and beauty versus the imperfection and cost level that forces some residents of this American to work three jobs to survive.

This work is well suited to order large because of its high resolution and construction from many photographs.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
