In spring, these cherry trees blossom beautifully along the towpath of the Kromme Rijn river in the province of Utrecht. They are standard fruit trees, which you see less and less in the region. Behind the tall trees lies the cherry orchard. In it, already old trees have now been replaced by low-trunk trees.
In calm weather, the trunks reflect beautifully in the water, creating beautiful vertical lines. Hopefully, these tall trees will last for a while.
A creative photographic technique was used for the picture: icm (intentional cameramovement). This way you enhance the painterly effect of the blossom. It is literally painting with light. The brush strokes are visible, as it were.
If you walk along the towpath in spring, you walk as it were in a tunnel of blossom. The ultimate spring feeling!
