The chapel in honour of OLV van de Bloeiende Betuwe stands in Bemmel, on a spot where there was a battlefield in World War II and heavy fighting took place between British and German soldiers around De Heuvel. The chapel is therefore popularly called Kapel op De Heuvel. In honour of the fallen, the chapel was erected in 1946.
