Designed by the architect of Sybold Ravesteyn building was opened in 1957 and was part of the reconstruction of Rotterdam. That building was closed in 2007 and the following year was demolished to make way for the new building, which in May 2013 [2] should be ready

Nadat ik de opleiding aan het Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam had afgerond ben ik begonnen als zeef- en offsetdrukker en vervolgens maakte ik carrière als dtp-er/Ctp-er, grafisch vormgever en fotograaf. Ik werkte aan projecten voor bedrijven, non-profitorganisaties, vormgevings- en reclamebureau's.
