Shrouded in an autumnal veil, the Celtic road winds its way through the centuries, embedded in the Roman road and the Rottweg, a bold mosaic of the past in Werdenfelser Land, Upper Bavaria's proud heart. Under the shady canopy of trees, their leaves dipped in gold and copper, the historic railway track near Klais reveals itself. A soft crunch fills the air as my footsteps touch the pavement, and time seems to slow down to capture the spirit of the ancestors.
The trees whisper stories of times long forgotten as the wind rustles through their branches, echoing centuries past. In the midst of autumn's play of colours, where the green of summer turns into warm shades of red and orange, the Celtic Road rises like a bridge between yesterday and today.
The air is filled with the scent of leaves crackling under my feet and a hint of nostalgia that envelops the senses. Every stone, every corner tells a story of those who walked these paths before us, of their dreams, hopes and suffering.
In the heart of Bavaria, in the heart of Europe, we look at these paths with awe and admiration, a symbol of the endurance of human history. And as I look at this homemade photograph of autumn in Werdenfelser Land, I feel connected to the past and grateful for the opportunity to capture a moment of eternity in a place where time itself holds its breath.
