About "Carried on hands"

About the artwork

This picture is an ode to unconditional love and the power of connection. The bronze sculpture shows a mother lifting her child - a timeless gesture of joy, security and pride. The mother stands on a 'large monumental staircase' on which Mother is standing. Words of admiration swirl in the background: a text full of loving detail, as if each letter re-describes the child (or loved one).
The inspiration for this work came from the small moments that feel the greatest: a look full of trust, a touch, or simply coming home. It is about the hushed moment, about time passing. Enjoying it together with your little child.
The atmosphere I create is warm, intimate and loving. The work evokes memories of childhood, parenthood or the deep bond with someone who carries you through life - literally or figuratively.
This sculpture fits into an interior that wants to tell stories. A place where art is not only beautiful, but also meaningful. The work captures the imagination of people who value family, love, and authenticity. No mass production, but a unique work of art with a personal soul - exclusive and timeless.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
