This work shows an abstract composition reminiscent of the movement of a merry-go-round. At the centre is a black circle, from which concentric rings of glowing dots in green, purple and blue spread outwards. The arrangement of the dots creates a visual dynamic that is reminiscent of rotation and rhythmic movement - like a merry-go-round travelling slowly and steadily.
The inspiration for this painting came from observing light installations and the aesthetics of circular movement patterns. I am interested in how a sense of movement and depth can be created through simple shapes and repeated structures - without any concrete representation of a real object.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that is calm but not static. The picture invites contemplation without telling a story. It conveys a sense of balance, repetition and an almost meditative flow.
In interior design, this work is particularly effective in modern, clearly designed rooms. It brings structure and colour into the room without dominating it - a calm but lively accent that appeals both analytically and sensually.
