As soon as you arrive in Cappadocia, you notice that you have entered a world's greatest natural wonder.
Cappadocia lies on a high surface, but in a pit. The pit was created after several, gigantic eruptions of several volcanoes. Estimate is about 40 million years ago.
The peatstone cones have typical formations. You can clearly deduce that most of them are hard pieces of lava.
Surely the most popular activity in and around Cappadocia at Nevsehir, remains hot air ballooning. This I wanted to capture, along with the sunrise. Getting up early paid off, with satisfaction I show this photo.
