About ‘COOPER ISLAND BVI’ by Sybrand Treffers

Not a Mini to be seen on this tiny island. (Not a single other car to be found here either.) No ferry and no plane calls at Cooper Island. The Manchioneel Bay we overlook can only be reached by private boat or a boat that sails specially to this beautiful spot in the British Virgin Islands. East lies Ginger Island, west Salt Island, all part of the British Virgins where the weather is permanently nice. Well, almost always then. Because near this bay lies -under water- the R.M.S Rhone (Royal Mail Steamer), which sank in 1867 during a hurricane. Wreck divers stay in this bay and have lunch or dinner with this sea view from the Cooper Island Beachclub. Also in this picture for the enthusiast is a Hallberg-Rassy, sailing yacht Sailody.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
