On the edge of the Bwindi impenetrable national park, which is known as one of the last places in the world where the Mountain gorilla still live in the wild, Ugandan farmers have managed to keep their tea plantations.
Although the entire area has been declared a protected nature reserve, an agreement has been made with the local population that they can continue to live there and keep producing tea. I had the opportunity to capture this special mix between centuries-old nature and man-made plantations.
The colour contrast between the green tea fields and light blue overcast sky plays an important role in this photo and compliment each other. The shadows running through the fields keeps the view forever interesting to look at. This photo would look very nice on a contrast-rich wall.
