A close-up photo of a cluster of flowers of Clematis armandii. This plant blooms as early as March. This gives it the stage to itself as there is so little else in bloom. The bees are very happy with it and the flowers also smell very nice. I have edited the photo and adjusted the colour of the flowers. Originally, the flowers are pure white.
