The pond was made with lots of small pieces of paper pasted on top of each other. This is also how the background was made. After pasting, the collage was manipulated with felt pens and gold ink pen.

I have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
