About the artwork

New York at its best, and that even before breakfast. If you get up early, you have a chance of seeing something special. And this morning did not disappoint. The water was so calm that it was as if Manhattan was looking at itself in the mirror. The Brooklyn Bridge, the skyline, the soft morning light, everything fell together perfectly.

I have been here many times before, but rarely have I experienced such conditions. No wind, no ripples, and a city showing its most photogenic side. A classic, without a doubt. Images like this don't scream, they just speak for themselves.

As always, the second part of work only begins at home. Behind my desk, with a strong cup of coffee and a powerful PC, I dive into post-processing. With the right software, I give the shot just that little extra, so that the final result is not only technically correct, but also captures the feeling of that moment.

And if everything is just right, then it goes to my shop at Werk aan de Muur. Because say it yourself, the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan in one image, that would not look out of place on your wall, would it?

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
