About ‘Breakwater in stormy sea’ by MSP Canvas

It was early morning when I walked onto the beach at Westkapelle, it was still dark at that time and it would be a while before the day would start and it would get light. It was grey and cold that morning and soon I realised it would stay that way that day. I set up my tripod and camera and sat for a while waiting for daylight to slowly show itself. Because of the heavy cloud cover, a distinct blue hue emerged, it appealed to me because it nicely reflected how cold and chilly the weather was that day. Now no long-exposure shot but faster close to capture the rough sea and the waves splashing apart on the breakwater, nice and sharp.
