Breakfast at the Petrol Station — Luxury in the Wrong Place

by ErwinFloor-Photography

An abandoned petrol station in the desert provides the backdrop for an elegant breakfast: white linen, a silver coffee pot, fresh flowers and a croissant, whilst a butler reads the newspaper beside a rusty Esso pump. The road behind them stretches endlessly towards the horizon, between barren mountains and faded billboards bearing the words ‘ "Gasoline" en "Cold Drinks, Maps, Tires" — sporen van een tijdperk dat allang voorbij is. Zelfs de krantenkop, "A Quieter World" ’, seeming to whisper that these two travellers find themselves in their own secluded world, far removed from everything. This fine art print is available on canvas or framed and makes an original statement piece for a living room, study or hospitality venue with a touch of vintage Americana. Each copy is produced as a limited edition and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
