I took this photo with multiple exposure.
With my Canon camera I can take multiple photos on top of each other. By photographing horizontally, vertically and at an angle, this braid c/q mesh structure of trees was created.
For me it is an abstract yet intriguing image. The differences in light on the trunks make it playful.
I had been planning to photograph this for a while. It wasn't easy yet but when I came across this birch grove I knew it was going to work.
Who am I, a small intro:
Once started as an architecture photographer with Robert Oerlemans as my photography docent at the art academy in The Hague.
Later followed by a 4-year art study "visual" at the UCK in Utrecht and a screen printing course at the CKE in Eindhoven.
