About "Blue shutters and yellow wall in Crest"

by Peter Bartelings

About the artwork

Crest is an ancient town in the department of Drôme. The town is known for its large tower. The tower (Donjon) in the center of this town is the highest medieval tower in France at 52 meters. Crest has small streets and the walls and shutters of the houses are often painted with cheerful colors. This house has blue shutters and a yellow plastered wall. Above the window, the plaster has disappeared and a thick support beam is visible,

About image-maker Peter Bartelings: As a born and bred Amsterdammer, I feel closely connected with the city of Amsterdam, also as a photographer and image-maker for FotoAmsterdam.com. Besides the Amsterdam collection there is also work from other cities in the Netherlands, like Haarlem, Groningen, Zwolle, Leiden, Delft etc. In addition, a lot of work has also been made in France and Germany. Moreover, over the years I have built up an interesting collection of digital art, including adaptations of old masters that have been given a new look and fit perfectly into a modern interior.

My work is internationally known and hangs besides the Netherlands, also in Belgium and Germany on the walls of clients.

I set high standards for my products. Therefore, I believe that the works are an enrichment to your wall, at home or at the office. You can always contact me with questions about a specific work.
