About ‘Blue hour over Kiel’ by Karsten Rahn

This atmospheric shot shows Kiel city centre at the blue hour, that special moment between day and night when the light of the city meets the deep blue of the sky.
In the foreground is the calm boat harbour, its surface reflecting the first lights of the city. Behind it, the Maritime Museum and Kiel City Hall shine, two defining landmarks that combine history, culture and maritime life. The soft light of dusk settles over the water and bathes the scenery in an almost magical atmosphere.
The motif captures the soul of Kiel: modern and lively, but at the same time calm and Nordic clarity. It shows how closely the city and the sea are interwoven - a place where architecture, water and light merge into a harmonious whole.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
