Black cat reading a book on the toilet by Erika Kaisersot

This illustration shows a black cat in a very special, quiet moment of everyday life: sitting relaxed on the toilet, engrossed in a book, surrounded by a cosy bathroom full of plants and soft light. The scene combines quiet humour with calm and creates an atmosphere that is both familiar and surprising.

The soft colours, the painterly execution and the loving details lend the motif a warm, homely aura. Despite the tongue-in-cheek theme, the picture remains calm and aesthetic - it invites you to pause, smile and appreciate the small, private rituals of life.

This illustration does not tell a loud story, but a quiet, poetic everyday tale from the perspective of a cat enjoying the moment all to itself. It fits wonderfully into modern interiors, bathrooms or personal retreats and creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

An ideal work of art for cat lovers, for people with a sense of subtle humour and for anyone who enjoys images that bring warmth, serenity and a little smile to everyday life.
