A 2:1 panorama photo in Black and White of an early morning in Westerdijkshorn, a place in the municipality of Het Hogeland in the province of Groningen. There are only a few houses and farms with the place being characterised by the former cemetery with its distinctive Church Tower.
Sometime in the thirteenth or fourteenth century, a small church was founded. A new tower was then built on the site where the church once stood, using the monastic bricks from the old tower.
