My name is Marco Kappers. I specialise in travel and landscape photography, focusing on atmosphere, light and tranquillity. In my work, I seek out places that tell a story without needing many words. My images range from architecture in cities such as Hamburg, Rome and Florence to tranquil natural scenes in forests, heathland and along the water’s edge. I enjoy capturing moments where lines, colour and light come together to create a serene and timeless image.

The lines draw your gaze further and further into the image, right down to the small rectangular area deep below. The photograph feels graphic and serene.
