About ‘Between Sky and Sea’ by Danny van de Griend

“Zwischen Himmel und Meer” emerges in the space between silence and movement, and a landscape stripped bare. A place where wind, water and emptiness converge, and where emotion takes precedence over words.

“Zwischen Himmel und Meer” depicts tranquillity and turmoil, between freedom and alienation. Vast open spaces, minimal elements and gentle imperfections combine to form a visual quest for feeling and transience. Inspired by the sea and the ever-changing landscape, this series leaves room to pause, to wander and to find one’s own meaning between sky and sea.

Inspired by the sea, the wind, emptiness and human emotion, I create fine art photography that is not only meant to be seen, but above all to be felt. With every image, I try to create something that is not only beautiful to look at, but also evokes a response.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
