The artwork "Berlin Facade Detail" shows a precise section of modern Berlin architecture. The focus is on the structured façade design of several buildings, whose grid of windows and clear lines creates a geometric overall picture. The dominant colours - cool blue and warm beige - create an exciting contrast between technical austerity and urban warmth.
The inspiration for this work came to me during a stroll through Berlin-Mitte. I was attracted by the idea of detaching the everyday - a building façade - from its context and viewing it as an independent composition. It's not about the building itself, but about rhythm, structure and the quiet aesthetics of the building.
The atmosphere is calm, almost meditative. I wanted to create an image that is not loud, but one that is effective through its order and clarity. It invites you to recognise patterns that are often overlooked in everyday life.
The message lies in the beauty of the functional. Architecture is not understood here as a monument, but as a visual system.
In interior design, this work acts as a stylish haven of peace. It fits particularly well in modern, minimalist rooms and gives them depth, structure and a touch of urban elegance.
