On around 300 square meters, Germany's only hemp museum deals with all aspects of the useful plant.
The Hemp Museum has been a permanent exhibition about the ancient cultivated plant hemp since 1994. It is located in the heart of Berlin, in the Nikolai quarter. A thread runs through seven rooms beginning with botanical key data, the agricultural cultivation and harvesting of hemp.
Hemp (Cannabis Sativa) is used and cultivated in different ways in almost all cultures of the world. The Hemp Museum Berlin illuminates the diverse uses of the adaptable plant - even an excursion into the botanical consideration of the plant is not missing.
