Silhouette of people staring and enjoying the dancing waters show in the fountains of Bellagio lake, outside the casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Las Vegas is a city that mostly lives at night. When the sun comes down, a magical atmosphere of fun and entertainment arrives, and one of the best places to start discovering it are the Bellagio fountains, which offer a water, light and music display every 15 minutes on week-ends. Here, people just stand in front of the fountains and get hypnotized by the beautiful show.
I love to capture photographs like this one. That is, for me, part of the beauty I perceive: to see through my lens other people taking the time to see the beauty of something. Then, with my photographs I try to do the same, in which each spectator perceives the beauty I perceived of other people also doing the same. Like a chain of endless beauty.
On this capture, light and water not only create these fabulous lines thanks to a well thought choreography, but also allows to give life to the shapes of all of these people. The result: a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere: stillness and quiet contemplation in a city known mainly for its vices.
This is a composition in color, also available slightly different in monochrome in my gallery.
