About the artwork

I took this photo as a macro shot of a bee sitting on a purple flower. The close-up captures the moment when the bee collects nectar, beautifully revealing the details of both the bee and the flower. The fine hairs on the bee's body are brought into sharp focus, as are the translucent wings and the precise movement of her sucking beak as she pollinates the flower. The composition highlights the delicate interaction between the insect and the flower, emphasising the textures and details that often remain invisible to the naked eye.

The flower has vibrant purple hues and is in full bloom. The different layers of petals and the soft purple tones provide a nice contrast to the bee's warm, orange-brown tones. The background is gently out of focus, creating a bokeh effect that keeps the full focus on the subject while creating a calm, natural atmosphere. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
