When you think of animals that you hope to spot during a safari, they are often large animals, such as the Big Five. But you also come across a lot of smaller and very beautiful animals, like this carmine bee-eater. Luckily we brought a book to identify birds, so that made for a lot of fun when we looked back at the pictures later on.
