One of the beautiful ornaments (statues) of the famous bridge Pont Alexandre-III over the Seine in Paris. The Pont Alexandre-III is a beaux-arts-style bridge in Paris, lavishly decorated with lanterns, cherubs, nymphs and winged golden horses. The bridge was built between 1896 and 1900, in time for the World's Fair, by engineers Jean Résal and Amédée D'Alby and architects Cassien-Bernard and Gaston Cousin, and named after Tsar Alexander III. His son, Nicholas II, laid the foundation stone on 7 October 1896. The bridge symbolises the treaty of the Franco-Russian Alliance.
