Beautiful lady with a koi fish hairstyle (AI) (fantasy, dreamy, unusual, colourful) by Natalie Bruns

This gentle portrait depicts a woman with her eyes closed, surrounded by koi fish that appear to be swimming through her hair. The orange fish, turquoise watercolours and light splashes lend the work a dreamy, flowing atmosphere. Small details such as the transparent fins, subtle golden speckles and soft transitions make the image serene yet distinctive.

This painting feels calm, feminine and almost meditative. The koi symbolise movement, happiness, perseverance and the beauty of water.

This painting is part of a series comprising seven mixed-media artworks in which female portraits are combined with imaginative, almost dreamlike hairstyles. These artworks can be found in my personal shop in the album: “Ladies”. Each piece has its own theme and character: a lady with peacock feathers, a hairstyle of leaves with gold, an elegant composition with shells and pearls, koi fish that seem to move through the hair, phases of the moon in a cosmic hairstyle, waves of the sea and an exuberant hairstyle full of fruit.

The works are based on watercolour, with soft transitions and expressive splashes. Some artworks are enriched with gold leaf or gold flakes, giving them a luxurious and sparkling appearance. The faces are painted in a soft and refined style, with eyes that are at times almost realistic, lending the work extra depth and character. Suitable for an interior that appreciates striking art with an elegant, mysterious and modern feel.

My love for water, movement, Japanese koi fish and feminine tranquillity inspired me to create this dreamy painting using AI.
