Without colour, the landscape around the beachcomber's cottage takes on a different connotation. The contrasts between light and dark, the lines of the sand, the weathered wood and the shadows of the found objects stand out even more in black and white. Everything feels a bit quieter, a bit more timeless. As if the world has stood still for a moment and only the wind moves. A moment of simplicity, captured in tones of grey.
