About the artwork

On the quiet beach near Nes on Ameland stands this lonely beach house, perched high on stilts above the sand. The sun slowly sinks towards the horizon, submerging the island in warm, soft light. The sky colours from gold to violet, while the sand in the foreground still bears the traces of a lonely walk.

The cottage, which serves as the shelter of the local surf club, is a small human accent in an otherwise endless landscape. Here simplicity and infinity meet - the sea, wind and light determine the rhythm of the day.

The atmosphere is serene and timeless. The soft evening light, the murmur of the sea in the background and the stillness of the moment invite you to slow down. An ode to peace, space and the pure beauty of the Wadden island of Ameland.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
