Recently, after many years, I paid a visit to Zeeland. This time the destination was the beach of Burg Haamstede (Zeeland, The Netherlands). I went there to photograph the wooden bollards/storm surge barrier, but there was much more beauty to see.
For example, there were the row of beach houses. Always beautiful such a rhythmic pattern of lines on the beach. But the warm evening light also created a beautiful row of long shadows. The fine clouds and the beautiful dunes made it a beautiful whole.
A nice vacation or childhood memory for the wall. But this photo will also appeal to a beach lover.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
