Upon arriving in Pushkar, you immediately feast your eyes. The large lake around which the extraordinary buildings are built is magnificent. The city is considered a holy city by Hindus and is an important pilgrimage site.
You see bathing people everywhere and although you are not allowed to take pictures, I was happily accepted. I love it to just sit somewhere and watch and when you are part of a group of people and you ask if they object to taking pictures you always get a positive response.
A wonderful city that you should not miss during your trip through Rajasthan.
