"Ballerina in black and white" is a beautiful photograph of a ballerina in a topless pose on pointe. The image is rendered in black and white with lots of empty space around the subject, creating an abstract and minimalist fine-art image. The artist has chosen a black and white image to focus on the shapes, lines and texture of the subject. The ballerina's pose and the play of shadows create a dramatic and emotional atmosphere. As often seen in the artist's works, contrasts are used in different ways. In this work, the combination of the lines of the beautiful young woman and the dance pose combined with the play of shadows is an important element. This makes this work a true work of art.
