The American sea eagle or white-headed eagle is a bird of prey that breeds in Canada and the United States. By the end of the twentieth century the bird was about to extinct, but today the population is restored to a stable level. The adult bird is completely dark brown and has a white head and tail. Females are larger than males and can reach a span of two meters to 240 centimeters.
