About ‘Back from the sea’ by Coastology

This shot captures the magical moment when the sun slowly sinks behind the horizon, right between two traditional fishing boats on the beach of Nacpan Beach in El Nido. The sky turns warm golden yellow and soft orange, and the boats - with their elegant, slender shapes - seem to stand still in time for a moment. The marks in the sand betray recent activity; life that was in full swing here a moment ago has now retreated into silence.

What is special about this work are the details that you only discover on closer inspection: the net hanging loosely from the side of the boat, the footsteps that almost disappear in the soft sand, and the silhouettes of children or fishermen in the background that end the day.

This photo was created during a sunset walk in El Nido. What inspired me was the contrast between peace and bustle, between day and night.

This shot was taken with a focus on natural light and shadow, with the sun deliberately placed just behind the boat to create a soft glow. The aim was to keep the image as pure as possible.

This piece fits perfectly in a space where tranquillity and nature come together. The warm tones and calm subject make it ideal for a bedroom, a reading corner or a workspace where you want to escape for a while.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
