BMW 3.0 CSI the legendary German car from 1971 is considered by many to be the classic car of its time and many enthusiasts consider it to be a real classic. It was BMW's first full-size car and meant for above the height of the "hill-top" concept where drivers had to climb up an embankment to gain a view. They also called it a "people's car" as it had been designed to accommodate and accompany its rider. For this reason, many felt that it was a failed attempt at creating a luxury car.

The BMW 3.0 CSI was redesigned for the masses and made available to all those who wanted a luxury car at an affordable price.
