About "BMW 1600 Baur Convertible"

About the artwork

The BMW 02 series was produced from 1966 to 1977 and comprised various models, including convertibles. The BMW 02 series convertible was converted by the Baur company in Stuttgart and was available in the 1600, 1602, 1802 and 2002 models.

The convertible of the BMW 02 series had an electrically operated fabric top that could be opened completely and thus enabled a genuine open-air driving experience. The design of the convertible was sporty and elegant at the same time, with clear lines and a timeless look.

The performance of the Cabriolet varied depending on the model and engine, but overall the BMW 02 Series cars were known for their sporty driving dynamics and reliability. The Cabriolet was very popular with motorists and is now a sought-after collector's item for lovers of classic BMW vehicles.

BMW 1600 114 C Baur Convertible 1968-1971, followed by the more torsionally rigid Targa Convertible from Baur which was built from 1971-1975. The total number of the full convertible version was 1892 vehicles.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
