In the village of Beesd, located in the Netherlands, lies a quiet avenue of trees stretching straight across the landscape. On misty mornings, a thick mist hangs over the road, making the tall trees only vaguely visible. The trunks of the trees partially disappear in the mist, giving the path a sense of endlessness. It is quiet; the mist dampens the ambient sounds and gives the avenue a calm, almost hushed atmosphere. The avenue in Beesd has a simple, serene look that comes out even more on such mornings.
