About ‘Autumn tones in planes’ by Whale & Sons

In this work, rounded areas of colour lie on top of each other like layers, as if they have been quietly laid down on the paper. The shades run from deep red and warm orange to amber and golden yellow, complemented by softer shades of beige and grey. Each surface carries its own texture, some rough with visible brush strokes, others almost soft and even, creating a layered image that continues to fascinate.

The composition is inspired by the multitude of colours and textures that autumn reveals: leaves falling on top of each other in layers, light shining through between branches, and the warm hues that fill a room as the season changes.

With its soft transitions and earthy colours, this work brings a sense of calm and warmth to any interior. The abstraction leaves room for interpretation, while the shapes and shades are instantly recognisable as an ode to the autumn season.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
