About ‘Autumn springs’ by By Iske

Autumn Springs is a fascinating letterpress painting that intrigues both technically and visually. This work has been created using an artisanal printing technique in which actual strings have been used as the printing form. Each colour area is printed separately in a separate print run - in this case, six colours, plus the framing frame - giving the work a rich layering and tactile texture.

Within the black rectangle, a play of lines reminiscent of roots unfolds. Most of the shapes are executed in shades of black and grey, which together form a calm, rhythmic composition, evoking a sense of structure and stillness. One group of lines deviates strikingly: in warm orange and yellow tones, a vibrant beam flows downwards. This sparkling colour trap suggests movement, change or perhaps even rebellion within a rigid system.

The combination of natural materials, repetition and unexpected use of colour makes Autumn Springs a contemplative work that feels both abstract and personal. Perfect for modern interiors seeking an artwork with depth and story.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
