Autumnal splendour in the Speulderbos. This autumn scene was captured in the Speulderbos, one of the oldest and most enchanting forests in the Netherlands, located in the Veluwe. The Speulderbos is known as the "forest of dancing trees" - a name that refers to the whimsically shaped trunks of beech and oak trees, which seem to move in the soft light. In autumn, this ancient forest turns into a colourful carpet of warm hues: deep red, bright orange, golden yellow and brown. The sunlight plays between the leaves, creating an atmosphere of mysticism and tranquillity.
The damp forest floor is covered with a carpet of falling leaves and moss, while the scent of earth and pine fills the air. At this time of year, nature displays its ephemeral splendour: the moment between flowering and stillness. The silence is broken only by the rustling of leaves and the cries of birds heading south.
This image captures not only the colours of autumn, but also the soul of the Speulder forest - a place where nature, light and time merge into a picturesque scene full of wonder and contemplation.
