A hushed autumn moment in Oranjezon nature reserve, near Vrouwenpolder in Zeeland. The rain had just stopped when this image emerged: a narrow watercourse reflects the fiery colours of the trees, from deep red to golden yellow. On the right, white birches stand as graphic accents against the dark, dense vegetation on the left. The damp air still hangs in the reeds, and the silence is almost tangible.
