Elswout estate near Overveen was founded in the 17th century. Several architects worked on it. You can see this in the avenues , bridges , houses scattered around the estate. The entrance gate , the big house( now a hotel) , the orangery and the farm also date from this era. You will find many animal species here , mushrooms( as many as 500 species_ and ferns and mosses. For photographers it is a walhalla here. Also because landscapers look at a landscape the same way we do.
