The Amerongse Berg is one of my favourite forests on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and, at 69 metres above sea level, is also quite a serious 'mountain' for Dutch standards. I took this photo when I walked back from the forest to m'n car because there was actually no light left in the forest. Walking along this beautiful beech avenue, I saw the very last light of the day still shining on the autumn leaves of these beeches, I pulled m'n camera out of m'n bag to take this photo.
