Autumn colours in the Vikos Gorge in Greece

by Jeroen Berendse

About this piece:
Bring the rugged beauty of nature into your home with this atmospheric landscape of the Vikos Gorge in the Pindos Mountains, northern Greece. This impressive deep gorge in the Epirus (Zagori) region is captured here during autumn, when the forested slopes transform into a warm palette of golden yellow and deep orange. The raised mist and steep limestone cliffs create a mystical, serene atmosphere. This work fits perfectly into a rural or modern interior, bringing tranquillity and depth to any wall. A timeless image for lovers of mountains, travel and unspoilt nature.

About Jeroen Berendse:
In daily life, I am a marketer. That means listening and watching customers carefully and using that knowledge to come up with relevant solutions. As a photographer, I basically do the same thing, with the difference that I listen to myself especially well.

Photography is a way of telling a story. Shaped into the perfect still image. A good photo takes your mind to a special place in the world, an event that makes you smile or puts your creative mind to work. And because this is very personal, the same photo evokes a different experience and feeling in everyone. In the photographer but also in the viewer.

My portfolio contains photos of many different subjects. You can find my complete portfolio in my shop at Werk aan de Muur and on my website www.jeroenberendse.nl.
