A silver car stands in front of an old, green-painted house façade - tired from the road, as if it had come to rest here. The colour of the building is marked by time, the wood brittle, the plaster peeled off. Grass grows undisturbed between the cobblestones and tyres, as if it wants to take possession of a place that no one pays attention to any more.
The sign on the wall demands: "Leave entrance and exit free" - but no one seems to have driven in or out here for a long time. Everything seems to have come to a standstill, frozen in a silent echo of former activity. The car itself bears traces of age and weather - as if it were a witness to past stories: Arrivals, farewells, perhaps a departure that never happened.
This picture tells of standstill - but also of peace. Of a place that is slowly being reclaimed by nature. And of the quiet dignity of things that have simply remained, while all around the world moves on.
Nature photography, city shots, reportage or portraits: I feel at home in many genres of photography and enjoy the opportunity to experiment and present my view of things.
