About ‘Astro Almanacs’ by Paul Wilson

Having left after work on a Friday night we arrived at our destination just before midnight, after crossing rivers, moving boulders, backtracking and generally making our own track in the 4wd, we ate, set up camp, then set alarms for 4.30.
I knew the Waning Gibbous moon at 88% was due to set at 5am, I also knew the sun was due to rise at 7.20am, this only gave me a small window of dark sky. I set up the 49 image 360 panorama and hurried it along. And this is the result!
The brightness under the arch of the Milky way is where the moon set. To each side of the frame is where the sun was starting to warm the sky, you can actually see it to the far left. I'm not sure if it was the moon or sun that caused the strange rays on the right of the frame, I have never seen anything like it.
There is no light pollution in this image from cities, this was shot in the middle of no where.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
